Quick answers

How do I download a Facebook video?

On the Facebook video, click the three-dot menu and pick Copy Link. Paste that URL into MediaGrabber and choose MP4 (up to 1080p depending on the source) or MP3 for audio only. The file saves locally to your device. Public videos work without logging in; private-group content needs a signed-in tab.

Can I download Facebook live videos after the stream ends?

Yes — once the live broadcast has ended and Facebook converts it into a saved video, you can paste the post URL into MediaGrabber and download the full replay as MP4. While the stream is still active, the file isn't yet finalized on Facebook's side, so wait until the broadcaster ends the live.

Why does Facebook sometimes serve only SD video?

Facebook decides which resolution to expose based on the original upload and how it transcodes. Older videos and content uploaded from low-end devices may only have a 360p or 480p track available. MediaGrabber shows every quality Facebook serves — if HD isn't in the list, the source itself doesn't have it.
